While I am still a work-in-process, Laura has reduced my dependence on allergy medication, improved my clarity of thought and brightened my spirits. I am now a healthier and happier person. Thank you Laura!
When I began treatment with Laura, I was on two inhalers, two nasal sprays, and an antihistamine. My doctor actually said I was “maxed out” on my medications and there was nothing more she could do to prevent my frequent sinus infections. After a year and a half of being under Laura’s care, I only take the occasional OTC antihistamine and have been on one antibiotic in the past year. A vast improvement from my 5-6 times a year previously! As an added bonus, I have seen my depression disappear, lost weight, and have begun a journey into even greater health and vitality. Thank you Laura!
Laura knew before anyone else, including me, that I was pregnant… Laura is so in tune with her patients that she often (if not always) knows what’s going with their bodies. From that very moment I knew I wanted Laura to be there for a “no-drug” natural delivery.
Laura treated me with acupuncture, reiki, massages throughout my pregnancy, easing morning sickness, fatigue and strengthening my connection with the baby. She also recommended the birth center, which we visited together and met the mid-wife to prepare for “D-day”. One month from due date, she intensified the acupuncture treatments to gently induce labor and prepare the baby. My baby boy (Laura had known all along that I was expecting a boy) was born on Thanksgiving day, one day before due date! With my daughter, I had a random 12hour labor and two epidurals which did not work, but with my son I had a smooth, joyful three hours of labor surrounded with the fabulous support team composed of my husband and Laura. Thank You.
The story goes beyond this chapter, as I was seeing Laura long before I was pregnant and still see her now as a nursing mum. With acupuncture treatment and Chinese herbs she makes sure I am recovering well and can keep up with the pace of caring for a second baby.
Laura is my “primary care physician” and her care goes far beyond just health, she treats the body as a whole as well as the spirit and the mind.
Laura has been treating me the past year with acupuncture and cranial work to address frequent migraines. As a result, my headaches have diminished- and more importantly, Laura has given me other tools to deal with my migraines and because of that, I thank her! She’s a great listener and definitely has my best interest in mind and I greatly appreciate it.
Laura is an extremely sensitive and compassionate healer and acupuncturist. She is helping me tremendously through a bout with severe headaches. I’m just beginning my work with her, but already she has helped me with headaches more than medications and other treatment modalities. Thank you so much!
