Every client must undergo an initial appointment that includes a comprehensive health review, consideration of all presenting health issues and a thorough overview of the body’s needs.

Following the health review, a recommended treatment plan will be presented to address both presenting symptoms as well as other conditions discovered during the course of the initial treatment.

A Message from Laura:

At Laurel Wellness I take the strictest measures in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all of my clientele. Where some acupuncturists have returned to business as usual seeing more than one client at a time, creating possible cross contamination, I refuse to. During this difficult time of Covid, I am only seeing one patient at a time and spacing out 30 minutes in between each patient to thoroughly clean the room and allow for air purification in between sessions. I take everyone’s temperature at the door and require all visitors to wash their hands before entering the treatment room. Your safety, wellbeing and ability to both relax and heal mean the world to me.


 

 

Policies

  • We recommend scheduling ahead for consistency of treatment.

  • We are direct pay only and accept cash, checks, FSA/HSA and all major credit cards. We do not bill insurance. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to determine reimbursement; we will gladly provide you with a Superbill.  

  • A credit card is required to secure appointments; Appointment cancellations must be completed at least 48 hours in advance. Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, we will do our best to see you and provide the most complete treatment possible. You will be charged for a full visit.

  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Draping will be provided to ensure comfort during treatment.

I have never had a bad experience. You can tell Laura puts her whole heart and soul into her professional. I have never had just a generic treatment. Laura makes me feel like I’m her only client!
